My name is Karen Warncken.  I have been a member of the teaching faculty at Passmores since 2004. During this time I have previously held pastoral responsibility as Head of House and still maintain my role as Head of Drama. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked on various youth and creative projects in Harlow. I am passionate about young people in Harlow accessing good quality education and facilities, having grown up nearby and spending a large percentage of my younger years in the town. In my role as staff governor, I hope to be a positive contributor  to the longevity of the Passmores legacy, it continuing to be a good school and a place where young people feel cared for and have opportunities to find their strengths and be ready to work on developing skills for their future.
