My name is Emma Forde and I joined the Passmores Academy Local Governing Body in September 2024 as a Parent Governor. 

I have three boys who have all attended Passmores with my youngest currently still at Passmores in Year 8. I love being able to watch and support them in the activities they are involved with both at school and for community sports teams. 

I work full time as an Associate Director for AtkinsRealis in their Project and Programme Services team. I am currently supporting the delivery of the terminal expansion at Stansted Airport. 

I previously volunteered as the Chair of Governors for my children’s primary school and I found the role really rewarding. 

I am looking forward to being part of the governing body for Passmores and hope I can use some of the skills I have developed in my working career to support the staff and students particularly in my focus areas of health and safety and curriculum monitoring.
