After graduating in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, she worked as an auditor for seven years, where analysing large datasets developed skills that later supported her career as a mainstream secondary Maths teacher.

Having supported her own children through the identification of additional needs, she moved into the SEN department and qualified as a SENCO. She is passionate about ensuring that all children can access a high-quality education and breaking down barriers to learning.

Since April 2022, she has worked for PACT for Autism, a local charity supporting autistic adults, children and families with neurodivergent children. This role enables her to combine her professional experience with her passion for supporting the local community.
