Every year, Passmores Academy hosts an annual rounders and barbecue event for our year 6, 7 and 8 students. This well-attended event culminates in a disco supported by Friends of Passmores in the evening.

The rounders and barbecue event starts at 3:45pm on Wednesday 16th July. It will begin with large rounders matches where staff, pupils and parents will compete against each other in mixed teams. The whole family is welcome. After the match we will all relax with a barbecue. This will end by around 5:00pm giving pupils plenty of time to go home, freshen up and return for the disco that will be running on the same evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, in the Main Hall.

This is a historically popular event as it is a perfect way to familiarise yourselves with the wider school community. We ask for a small donation of £3.50 per person to cover the cost of the food that will be cooked on the barbecue, and drink. The disco will cost £2.00 per head and is only open to the students that will be attending here in September, along with our current year 7 and 8 students, children must be collected at the end of the evening.
