Unicorn House
Welcome Unicorn students, parents and carers. In our House, our motto is to “strive to the highest point.” 2011 – 2012 will be the Year of the Unicorn, providing that we all pull together and enter as many House events as possible.
My name is Ben Dumayne and I am your Head of House. I have been teaching at Passmores for seven years and feel that the most effective strategy towards success is through clear communication. I invite questions or requests for assistance from parents through phone calls or via email and will endeavour to reply within twenty-four hours.
I am originally from Wales and am passionate about the community that I grew up in. I hope that all students in Unicorn and in the rest of our school feel part of the Passmores community that we build, reinvent and enhance on a daily basis.
My role as a pastoral leader sees me being involved in the academic progress, behaviour, success and all round achievement of your son or daughter. I am on hand to deal with many different issues, supporting my tutors in ensuring that our students receive the best possible experience at Passmores Academy.
