Plaudits for Passmores Students
Passmores students were praised for their half-term holiday work this week. Many of our students volunteered to help out with the School Readiness Project, that ran educational play sessions for pre-school children. The project had an attendance of over 1600 people at the two events and the students coped amazingly well.
Julie Cochrane, Community Development Office, said "All volunteers were a credit to the school. I have emailed each volunteer to thank them individually, but please do pass on our thanks to them for all their hard work."
Even more pleasingly, there were so many keen volunteers that we even had to create a reserve list for our big-hearted students. We look forward to more involvement with the School Readiness Project in school holidays to come.
