My name is Chris Guyton and I am a parent governor at Passmores.
I have lived in Harlow for most of my life and attended Brays Grove School. I am currently a Manager at a local company where I started as an apprentice at the age of sixteen.
I am a keen sportsman with rugby being my passion. I am a Vice President at Harlow Rugby Club where I have been a member since the age of thirteen.
I am a family man with two sons who both attended Passmores. I became a governor as a way of giving something back to the community and supporting an outstanding school such as Passmores. I felt my experiences in life could contribute to the governing body. I very much enjoy this experience and have learnt a great deal.
As a governor, I am responsible for monitoring Special Educational Needs, Attendance and Buildings and Premises. It's a great feeling being involved with supporting the school and I look forward to the challenges ahead.
