I joined the Passmores team in 2003 and have witnessed many changes during my time here. I love my job as I find working with young people inspiring and rewarding. I have lived in Harlow all my life and like to think that I understand some of the challenges that many families may experience during periods of their lives.
I have a passion for music and have been singing since I was at school. I have travelled to various countries as a performer in a band, given piano lessons and I’m also a qualified piano tuner. I bet a lot of you didn’t know that!
Since moving to Passmores Academy even more changes have occurred. The new building has inspired creativity and changing technology allows us try new challenges, in order to endeavour to make lessons more fun and varied. Patience and a sense of humour are vital; I would like to think that over the years I have not only taught maths, but have made quite a few young people giggle along the way!
G2 are a lovely bunch. Tutor time is generally a cooperative and relaxed affair, where the eclectic mix of personalities create a supportive and positive atmosphere. (Though please don’t be late and make sure you have all required equipment!)
