My name is Trevor Bunting and I am the tutor of D6, which is in Dragon House. This is my second year of teaching at Passmores and my first full year as tutor of D6. I see my main role as form tutor as making sure all of my tutees are prepared for each day at school, so that they can get the most from their time at Passmores.
Above all I want to make my tutor group a friendly place where everybody feels comfortable and relaxed so they can start the day in a positive frame of mind. At the same time it’s my responsibility to ensure that all students are properly prepared for school by arriving on time with the correct uniform and equipment.
As form tutor I am the first port of call for any problems, big or small, faced by my tutees or their carers so in that respect my ‘door is always open’ (I can usually be found in my room G106 or roundabouts). Likewise I am always available via email through the school switchboard if need be.
I want to see all of my tutees achieving the very best they can during their time at Passmores and this year I will be encouraging every tutee to get fully involved in school life both academically and otherwise, especially by getting involved in house competitions and events.
